Refund Times and Procedures

We hope you will be satisfied with your purchase.
However, in the event you are not happy with items purchased then we are happy to offer you a
14 day No quibble returns policy.

If returning any item, our only stipulation is that items are in the same condition as you received them, customers have a duty of care for the products during the cancellation period, in other words

  • The tags have not been removed
  • The garment has not been worn or damaged
  • No Smells or Markings
  • The Packaging is returned

For hygiene reasons we are unable to issue refunds for swimwear or underwear.
We will happily exchange for a different size or item but there will be a flat rate charge of £6.00 to cover postage costs. You only have to pay this if returning any item for an exchange.

Please enclose the return form when returning your item and your reason for returning/exchanging your item
We recommend all items being returned should be sent back via Royal Mail Special Delivery with extra insurance for items of a high value (only costs £1) this is for your peace of mind as we cannot exchange /refund items that have gone missing.

All orders placed before 3pm will be dispatched the same day. Orders over £65 will be dispatched via Royal Mail Special Delivery Next day, orders under £65 will be dispatched via Royal mail first class recorded

Delivery is free on all UK orders unless stated

Overseas orders will be sent via Royal Mail international signed for with a charge of £10


Christmas Returns Policy

At this time of year many purchases are made as Christmas Gifts, and will not be tried on until Christmas Day.
Our Christmas Returns Policy runs for 15 or so days from Christmas Day rather than from the date of purchase.
Please remember do not remove tags or dispose of packaging until you are sure you are keeping the garment.

Refund Times

On receipt of your return we will dispatch your exchange item.
Refunds will be issued in exactly the same way the items (s) were paid for. For example if you have paid by paypal we will issue you with a refund by paypal.
We will issue a full refund within 30 days.

Mays Clothing reserve the right to not issue refunds where we feel items have been worn or tampered with.

Cancelling your order

The United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations give you the right to cancel your order for any item purchased from Mays clothing, for a full refund.
This does not apply to items that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.
You must inform us via email or in writing within 7 days clearly stating your order number.
For orders that are 'Awaiting Dispatch' it may be possible to cancel your order before it is dispatched.
If however your order has already been shipped, you will need to return the order to us.

Mays clothing are not official stockist’s for any of the brands we sell however we purchase old season and some new season surplus stock from shops who are official stockists around the UK, this is why we can guarantee authenticy and have some of the cheapest prices online.
